In the context of the operation, the search and arrests were carried out on the strength of official documents issued by the competent authority in the framework of the investigation.

One of the officers involved in the operation confirmed that the examination was carried out without delay so that the investigation process could proceed immediately. He explained that the seized evidence would then be developed in the investigation stage, including by strengthening cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, both at home and abroad, when the case is linked to actors outside the territory of Indonesia.

Efforts to prevent and suppress terrorism are also carried out by strengthening cooperation with the military and the Customs and Excise Service, as well as by conducting deradicalization efforts against groups that are considered to have a close relationship with the targets. Those cases, the law also regulates that the investigation, prosecution, and trial of terrorism cases are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law.
